Arthur Cabral made his debut scoring this Friday for Benfica in the victory against Lusitânia (1-4) for the Portuguese Cup and, on social media, he marked the moment, saying he was “very happy for the first goal” with the Eagles’ shirt, in a publication that immediately included comments from several of his teammates.

“Very happy for the first goal with this shirt. We continue to work to improve and focus on the next Champions League match”, wrote the Brazilian striker after the match.

Morato, João Neves, David Neres and João Mário wasted no time and conveyed messages of confidence to Arthur Cabral: “Let’s go, monster!”, wrote Neres. “Good Arturito,” said João Mário. Morato also reacted: “Phew.”

After the match, the reds’ number ‘9’ assured that he is adapting better and better to the reality of the club. “We are working very firmly. I am adapting more and more to the country, the team and Portuguese football. We have a great game in the Champions League [esta terça-feira, na receção à Real Sociedad] and we need to be very focused on it”, he said.
