Kevin Aylwin shot a bogey-free 66 to erase a two-stroke deficit and win by three at the Minor League Golf Tour event in Wellington this week.
The New Smyrna Beach golfer was 7 under par for the two-day event at Wellington National and earned $2,364. This was the first MLGT win for Aylwin, who has won several tournaments Florida mini tours.
Aylwin’s second round included six birdies and no bogeys.

Cole Castro of Homestead was second at 4 under, while Ethan Marcus (Boca Raton) was solo third at 3 under.
The Minor League Golf Tour is based in Jupiter and plays year-round in South Floridawith mostly one-day and two-day tournaments.
