Qualifying rounds have wrapped up and the main draw is underway across the board at the 2023 Western & Southern Open. Venus Williams, along with four other Grand Slam singles champions and other key players are slated to take the court among the 31 matches scheduled for Monday.
Cincinnati natives J.J. Wolf and Peyton Stearns are not on the schedule for Monday, nor are any of the top-eight ranked players in the ATP or WTA due to first-round byes.

WTA main draw results: Sloane Stephens (USA) defeated Elisabetta Cocciaretto (ITA) in two sets on Center Court. Qualifier Jasmine Paolini (ITA) took down Marta Kostyuk (UKR).
The first wave of ATP matches are still underway.
Courts drying, stands filling and play resuming at 1:30 p.m.
Western & Southern Open staff has been out at the courts for the last hour. Fans have started filing into the bleachers of Center Court and Grandstand. Play is anticipated to resume at 1:30 p.m., Western & Southern announced.

The Western & Southern Open is currently in a rain delay, the tournament announced.
