Harrison Schwartzburg’s journey to becoming the number one boys’ tennis player in Marion County wasn’t easy. He fought off a rising Vanguard team as a senior, battled with a Division I tennis player as a junior, and improved his game every step of the way.
Schwartzburg’s been a competitive tennis player in the county since stepping foot on the court for Forest. Since his sophomore year, he’s had a place on the all-county team.

He was a consistent number 1 for Forest, the annual tennis power in Marion County. This year, he showed just how high he good he could be.
Forest’s ace finished with a 7-4 singles record, going 7-1 against in-county competition. He joined forces with Ryan Murray going 7-4 in doubles, dropping one set to a local opponent.
Schwartzburg earned MCIAC tennis champion for singles and doubles to sign off on a dominant senior season. He was the tip of the spear that drove Forest to a boys MCIAC overall title.
