French minister accuses Benzema of being linked to a terrorist group – News

French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin accused Karim Benzema, now an Al Ittihad player, of having links to the Muslim Brotherhood at the end of Tuesday. It is a radical Islamic organization founded in 1928, with origins in Egypt, considered a terrorist organization in several Western countries and which was the basis for the formation of Hamas.

“Mr Karim Benzema has notorious links, as we all know, to the Muslim Brotherhood”, declared Gérald Darmanin, on the CNews television channel, after the French international expressed support for the Gazans who are victims of the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Last Sunday, on his Twitter account, Benzema wrote: “All our prayers for the inhabitants of Gaza who, once again, were victims of these unjust bombings that do not spare women or children.”

Gérald Darmanin was not the only one to point the finger at Benzema after this publication. Nadine Morano, a member of the European Parliament from the Les Republicains party, also accused Benzema of being a “Hamas propaganda agent”.
