Aug. 9—Although he shined for the USMNT at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and this summer at the CONCACAF Nations League, where America took the gold by defeating Canada 2-0 in the final.

Following his time at Fairfield, the New England Revolution invited Turner to attend a preseason trial. He impressed the club enough to garner an offer and became the New England’s third string goalie. Turner fought and in two seasons, he became the club’s starting keeper.

He was named the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021, marking the first goalie in the Revolution’s history to win the award.
