Colts release C Dakoda Shepley and DT Caleb Sampson

He Indianapolis Colts They made two more cuts Monday as they work to reduce the roster to 53 players before Tuesday’s deadline. Those two moves include releasing the center Dakoda Shepley and giving up defensive tackle Caleb Sampson.

KPRC2 Houston’s Aaron Wilson reported that the Colts are releasing Shepley, who joined the team in January as a waiver claim.

Meanwhile, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reported that the Colts are waiving Sampson, an undrafted rookie free agent out of Kansas. The team hopes to induct him into the practice squad.
